Marissa Palermo Hebert
Clinical Program Coordinator

About Marissa:  Marissa has worked at Catholic Charities Disabilities Services for eleven years.  Before taking on the position of Clinical Program Coordinator, Marissa served in a variety of roles at Catholic Charities Disabilities Services and is well-versed in the different areas of service we provide. She began working in as a Direct Professional in one of our IRAs and then transitioned into working as a Medicaid Service Coordinator, and later as a Residential Behavior Specialist.  Prior to joining our team at CCDS, worked in counseling at Parson’s Child and Family Guidance Center and in case management at Roarke Center and Saratoga County Domestic Violence Rape Crisis Center.

Marissa is a true “people person”. She enjoys spending time with people and discovering their likes, dislikes, and how to make their lives more enjoyable. On a personal note, one of her family members is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and lives in a group home. It’s very important to Marissa that her family member receives the best care possible, and she strives to guarantee that everyone she works with does as well. Marissa is passionate about advocating for people with developmental disabilities and ensuring each person she works with is safe, happy and that their rights are protected.

When she’s not working Marissa enjoys working on her side business Marissa’s Pawsome Treats, making natural dog treats and cakes. She loves dogs and volunteers with the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society as well as Pawesome Pups Preserve (which she founded as well).  Marissa also likes spending time outdoors, and camping and kayaking and going on nature walks with her husband and dogs.
