About Mark: In the fall of 2016 Mark Keegan took on a new role as Director of Quality Initiatives. The focus of this part-time position includes leadership development, program development, and the continuation of the agency’s commitment to ensuring that Person-Centered Excellence values, endorsed by the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) are put into every-day practice. Mark has been a part of Catholic Charities Disabilities Services Administrative Team for seven years; and prior to taking on the role of Director of Quality Initiatives, he worked for CCDS as the Associate Executive Director. While Mark held the role of Associate Executive Director he championed the CQL initiative which lead to the agency earning their CQL accreditation. We are grateful to have him continue to lead our agency as we work to strengthen our focus and commitment to the definition, measurement, and improvement of the quality of the services and supports we provide. Prior to coming on board at CCDS, Mark has been the Director of Quality Assurance at Vanderheyden Hall, and Director of Quality Assurance and Investigations for NYS Commission on Quality of Care and Advocacy for Persons with Disabilities.

Mark has participated in various volunteer activities such as; Director, Challenger Program, Colonie Little League; Executive Board, Colonie Babe Ruth; Executive Board, Colonie Soccer Club; Member, Parish Council, Christ Our Light Parish; Member, Master Plan Committee, Village of Colonie.

Education: Master of Social Work, The State University of New York at Albany | Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Psychology, Fordham University
