In Home Behavior Specialist

Schedule: Flexible Scheduling, Part-time position of approximately five hours weekly

Position Description: We are seeking an In Home Behavior Specialist to work with families and individuals with developmental disabilities through the Family Support Services grant program. 

This position is responsible for in-home behavioral services such as, testing, evaluation, consultation, intervention, and development of behavioral management plans and goals as required by the needs of the individual being served.  The person in this role will also provide education and training to family members regarding behavioral strategies.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Social Work
  • At least one year experience working with an individual(s) with a developmental disability 
  • A valid New York State driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • The ability to work independently, and complete necessary documentation; Internet access is also necessary.
