Associate Director of Individualized Community Services

Location: Albany, NY

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, Some flexibility and on-call phone coverage is required

Position Description: The Associate Director of Individualized Community Services (ICS) is responsible for the management of a team of Community Support Supervisors, Community Support Specialists or a Community Support Specialist, TBI Service Coordinators and OPWDD Self Directed Brokers. The Associate Director of ICS will oversee the coordination of the OPWDD Family Education and Training Program.   The Associate Director of ICS may also provide direct service coordination and /or broker services. The Associate Director of ICS is expected to be a key contributor not only to developing department policies and procedures related to the above area, but also to contribute to overall agency systems and procedures. This position requires team work and carries with it the responsibility of performing related work as required, both within the agency and within the agency's structure as part of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate field of study with the following:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of case management experience providing: case management/service coordination, information and referral services and service brokering of community based services for individuals with disabilities and/or Traumatic Brain Injury.
  • Knowledge of Self-Directed services; broker certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience

Or

A Master’s degree in the appropriate field of study with the following:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience providing: case management/service coordination, information and referral services and service brokering of community based services for individuals with disabilities and/or Traumatic Brain Injury.
  • Knowledge of Self-Directed services; broker certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years supervisory experience

Candidate must have a valid New York State driver’s license.
